MultEQ filters start in the time domain. This is a radical departure from traditional EQ methods that have relied on a few parametric bands and operate only in the frequency domain. Instead, MultEQ XT uses thousands of points to create an equalization solution in both the frequency and time domains. It also uses advanced signal processing methods that focus the filter power automatically where it is needed the most with particular emphasis in the low frequencies. The Sound Equalizer can be configured for up to 8 channels in a single room or in multiple rooms. For instance, if the main listening room has a 5.1 system, then another room with a 2.0 system can be calibrated separately.
