Hi Bill
Thankyou for introducing me to the Magnepan range of speakers, I knew within 3 minutes that I was going home with a set MG12's.
It has now been 7 days since my purchase & you never really know what you have got, till you hear it at home. I must say I was astounded at just how great my MG12's sounded straight out of the carton.
My impressions after just 7days & about 20 hours of listening are of a speaker having great separation with considerable depth & width to the sound stage. I never new what that, "box sound" that you hear people talking about conventional speakers was. Box sound is what you don't get with a pair of Maggies. There tonal presentation is just sublime, with good levels of tight fast bass, very smooth even midband & high end with great detail too.

I am getting very life like volume levels without any loss of composure, what I mean is Maggies are unflappable, they remain calm where others would be loosing control. Bill I am so pleased with the MG12's that I will want to upgrade to the all new MG 1.7 when they become available. Thanks again Bill.
Regards Mark
